
ABOUT ME
Sarah grew up in downtown Mobile, graduating from Murphy High School. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, and started her career with the American Red Cross in Miami, Florida. Sarah met her husband, a Coast Guard pilot, in Orange Beach. After spending almost two decades moving every few years in support of her husband's career, Sarah is now a resident of Fairhope. She enjoys fishing with her two boys and taking walks with her dog, Poppy.

Sarah has a lifelong commitment to helping others. She has over a decade of experience working with public health non-profit organizations managing staff, volunteers, and disaster response. Following the birth of her children, Sarah built a career in mental health, focused on improving the health and well-being of children and their families. She has years of experience in outdoor education and diversity facilitation, and she enjoys utilizing the power of the natural world in every aspect of her work.
