From the ground up...
I enjoy getting my hands dirty while educating and consulting about the ease and importance of composting through the Fairhope Compost Project and the Hope Community Compost Hub!
I'm also proud to be a program facilitator for Nature Connect Alabama, a local business providing outdoor education for children and adults. We are committed to creating opportunities to engage with the natural world through programming at local parks and wilderness areas.
FAIRHOPE COMPOST PROJECT
Fairhope Compost Project empowers Fairhope residents to decrease landfill-bound organic waste and improve soil quality using composting. FCP partners and volunteers—including community gardens, nurseries and garden centers, schools and daycare centers—will also create on-site examples of working composting systems and host workshops for local residents. The goal of the FCP is to start 100 new compost locations in Fairhope, including residences, businesses, and schools.
